Barbara Castle is a freelance community development and regeneration consultant. Based in South Wales, Barbara works for a variety of clients across all sectors and has 30 years experience of working with organisations which span from the grassroots to national level. She sits on the editorial board of Welsh Housing Quarterly and is particularly interested in participation and housing issues. Current contracts include writing, project development and policy advice. |

Anne Delaney has over 25 years experience of policy development, research, and assessment in the social housing field, and of performance measurement, inspection frameworks and service assessment methodology. Her experience has been gained from wide-ranging employment in the housing field, including working as Lead Housing Inspector for Wales with the Audit Commission, and as Assistant Director Performance Audit with Tai Cymru /Housing for Wales. Anne has worked as an independent consultant since March 2004

Caroline Humphreys has worked in supported housing for fifteen years. Her first job was as National Housing Co-ordinator for Welsh Women’s Aid. After that she worked as Assistant Director of Community Care at Gwalia Housing Society (now Trothwy) and as Director of Care and Support at United Welsh Housing Association. As a consultant, she provides services to a range of organisations involved in the provision of housing, supported housing and social care services - at an operational and strategic level. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and has served on a number of voluntary sector and housing association committees.

Monica Keeble has 25 years experience of working with tenants organisations, social landlords and national organisations. She has been housing manager for a housing association and assistant director of a voluntary organisation providing support for ex offenders and substance misusers. Monica has worked as an independent consultant since 1990, developing and supporting tenant participation and service user involvement, carrying out project evaluations and undertaking research into practice.

Simon Inkson is an experienced housing professional with 20 years experience of working in local authority, housing association and voluntary organisation environments. Simon has a proven track record of delivering improvement within a local authority environment and experience of research and policy development. His local authority experience includes work for City and County of Swansea and, most recently, as Head of Housing Strategy in Torfaen County Borough Council. Simon has worked as an independent consultant since May 2003.

Tamsin Stirling has 17 years of experience working with social landlords, national organisations and tenants groups within Wales and beyond. She has been an independent consultant since 1999 carrying out research, policy and strategy development and identification and dissemination of effective practice. She is editor of Welsh Housing Quarterly, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and an affiliate housing inspector. She is a voluntary board/committee member of a number of organisations.
